The Workplace offers flexible hot desking and coworking memberships in Cheltenham across two locations – Star Lodge in Montpellier and Frogmore House in the town centre. Whether you need a hot desk for a day or a dedicated desk full time, our all-inclusive plans are designed for freelancers, remote workers, entrepreneurs and growing SMEs.

We have a variety of coworking plans, including our Nomad plans which are perfect for those who need flexible access without a full-time desk commitment.
All coworking stations include: electric standing desks, Herman Miller chairs, and monitors, with access to phone booths and the best coffee. Plus, all of our workspaces are dog-friendly.
Parking is bookable at Star Lodge @ £6 per day.
Day Passes
£25 /day incl. VAT
For trying us out, or the occasional escape from the kitchen table. Desk, monitor, great coffee – all you need is your laptop.
Nomad Plans
from £80 /month incl. VAT
For hybrid workers and part-timers. Choose 4, 8, or 12 days a month and use them whenever you like – rolling contracts, zero hassle.
Dedicated Plan
£325 /month incl. VAT
For everyday members. Your own permanent desk, set up just how you like it, with a locking pedestal and meeting room time included.

Frequently asked questions
Can I try coworking before committing to a plan?
Yes – we offer Day Passes at £25. You’ll have your own desk for the day, and the team will show you the facilities and answer any questions you may have.
Is there parking at the coworking spaces?
Yes, but only at Star Lodge. Our Frogmore location is just along the Promenade, and is not far from Rodney Road car park.
Are the coworking spaces dog-friendly?
Absolutely! Lots of our members bring their well-behaved pups in – but if you’re not a fan of them, just speak to one of the team and we can sit you away from them.
Am I tied in to a long contract?
Not at all! We believe in flexible contracts that work for you, so you’re never tied in for more than one month at a time with our rolling contracts. You can also cancel or pause your plan at any time.
What's included in the coworking membership?
All coworking spaces include: electric standing desks, Herman Miller chairs, and monitors, with access to phone booths and the best bean-to-cup coffee. Depending on your membership, you also get varying credits towards using meeting rooms (the Zoom Room or Planning Place).
Can I bring guests with me?
Definitely – whether it’s a friend or team member, you’re welcome to bring them as long as they have a desk.
Can I add extra desk passes?
Yes, if you have an existing plan, you simply book the desk you want and it will be added onto your invoice for the month; it’s £20 per additional desk.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking ahead as some days are busier than others, but most of the time there are desks available on the day.
How will I be billed?
Your membership account will bill you every 1st of the month via direct debit or credit/debit payments.
Can I use both locations as a member?
Absolutely! You just need to book a desk for the right location.
